Hastega, quick hit both arms and the head, then just repeatedly hit the body. I recommend stoic or warrior overdrives, not that you'll need them, but they speed things up a bit. He has no counterattack, so he's faster to beat than some of the other bosses with less HP. Just be sure to keep removing those arms or he'll shield himself to reduce the damage (unless you have high luck, then you'll still get critical hits)

yeh hes easy but uhh why quick hit the arms just use ultima thats both arms and the head overkilled instantly (assumeing you have 255 magic).

Ultima takes a long time to animate. Also, quick hit uses less turns than ultima.

just fyi useing items is faster then casting spells (and it saves mp) so you should probably use a chocobo wing insted of casting hastega.

ultima buster
ultima buster is weak at first cast hasteaga then doubleast ultima then constantly quick hit him and he'll eventually die at first it took me 10min ( i record my fights but threw the tape into yard becuase it took to long) then next i grand summoned anima overdrived him and he died really quickly that our fight him reg both times it only took 5 min i posted it on youtube but cant rememb the name of video :)

I find this to be a kinda dumb end game weapon, Trip AP and overdrive, and overdrive -> ap? the ultimate level up weapon at the end of the game? whats the point of that? you're probably damn near god mode by this point, the only stronger enemy is nemesis right? go hoard don tonberry and cactaur king and there you go.

how to beat ultima buster
you can just have tidus or wakka on the field by him self and have the loner overdrive thingy on. Have his ultimate weapon on and just do blitz ace of attack reels over and over till you win.
have strength/defense/magic defense/accuracy/evasion and agility all over at least 190 but have strength on 255 and just waste the ugly thing.
hit the arms then the head with flare then just quick hit and main head lol
