Site redesign - again
It's been a long time coming, but I finally completed the new design for the site. It no longer uses Movable Type for backend changes - it's based entirely on my own code now.
New features include:
- Every page can now have comments attached to it.
- Threaded comments.
- Search section for game entries.
- Icon-based identification for game entries instead of the color-coded links.
- Various small changes on the backend to speed things up.
Hopefully I'll get inspired and put up some more games in the future...

FFX2 is up at last
I finally got the FFX2 section to the point where it's usable so I'm making this a Christmas present to all the Final Fantasy fans out there!
This game was by far the most complex to work with which is one of the reasons I put it on the back burner for so long. There are still some parts missing that will need to be filled in, but they can come later. For now, just have a Merry Christmas!

Main Site Redesign
The main part of the site has been redesigned to match with the new design for the Games section of the site.
The color scheme has been updated, some pages have been removed and others added. The main pages have been restructured to be static instead of dynamic since they do not change much. Movable Type now manages all the templates for the site instead of just PHP. Now the pages can be static or dynamic and the templates for them can still be maintained separately.
There have also been some incremental improvements to the Games section with the most important being a link for each page to view the most recent posts for that section.

Games section redesign
The Games section has been redesigned yet again. This time the interface has been changed dramatically. Navigation has been improved and the color scheme has been lightened. Numerous small fixes on various pages as well. It will only look its best in the very latest browsers due to heavy use of CSS.

Games refactor
The entire backend of the games reference section has been refactored. It now should only have to load about half the amount of code that it did before and should be significantly faster.
The posting system has also been modified to show more info at a time, including any posts underneath whatever the current level is.

New posting system
I've added a rudimentary posting system to the game reference section. Posts can now be added to each individual page.

Game consolidation
It may seem like nothing has been happening but I've been busy working on a redesign of the game references section of the site. The entire thing has been rewritten nearly from scratch to bring everything into a single application. It should be more robust and much faster now.
The redesign will cause any links directly into the references to not take you where you expect now. Any old or non-recognized link into the site should take you to the main listing of the games now so you can find the page you want and reset your link.
I'm going to start working on a commenting system to integrate with the game section since I've been getting so many questions and comments relating to it and it'd be nice if others could see the info too.

Games section update: FFX is up!
Many changes to the Games section but the most notable is that FFX is finally up. The Walkthrough and Sidequest sections are not quite complete, but complete enough for most of the game. Some usability enhancements all around, including type selectors and alphabet jump menus for the larger tables to make it easier to find what you're looking for.

Site problems
Apologies if the site has been having problems. Our hosting company moved us to a new server at a new location and then to another one when the first server had stability problems. In addition to all the downtime due to the move, the parts of the site that required access to the database were down because our passwords were all inadvertantly reset. Everything should be up and running now however.
Although there haven't been any updates, much work has been going on behind the scenes and the FFX section is nearly completed. Even though the framework was already in place, there is so much more to it than the other FFs that it is taking longer than the others did.

FF7 complete
My FF7 section is pretty much complete now. Quite a few more things have been added, but most notably are the Walkthrough and Sidequests and Secrets section. Also cleaned up all the broken links, so there shouldn't be any missing entries in any of the games sections.
