    I don't agree with your assesment of not builbing these. For the Alliance their advantage is their fighters. 6 x-wings can seriously hurt an Imperial Star Destroyer. Having more fighters as part of an Alliance fleet could mean the difference between winning a battle or forcing an Imerial defeat.
