Is it just me or are these things impossible to find. I have never encountered one i have pretty much 10 of everything in the game except these which i have 0 black elements which i have 8, varunas which i have 9 and tonberries which i have 7.
where do these sneaky guys appear.

its really all about luck. it takes me forever to locate those hard-headed creatures, too. i guess just keep running around in circles until they pop up :D too make it less boring, train your weaker characters as you are searching
